Melchior Hoffmann studied German language and literature and theater studies in Bayreuth, with a special focus on music theater, as well as applied theater studies in Giessen.
As a freelance assistant director and production manager, he has worked in various constellations with collaborators from the fields of dance, music theater, performance and visual arts.
Since the season 2021/22 he is production manager at the Hessian State Ballet, since this year in the area of the Dance Platform Rhine-Main.
