Hessisches Staatsballett on tour – A dance between mountains and applause

In January 2025, it was time for the Hessian State Ballet to pack its bags, lace up its pointe shoes and set off on an international tour! Our company set off for Switzerland and France to thrill audiences with energy and passion.

Our journey took us through beautiful cities: we opened the tour with a brilliant start in Monthey. In Fribourg, we were welcomed by an enthusiastic audience who rewarded us with long applause. We continued to Échirolles, where the atmosphere in the hall was electrifying – every movement, every lift, every jump seemed to carry the audience along with us. Our journey ended in Annemasse, where we were also bid farewell with much love and applause – a crowning finale to this intensive time.

For us, a tour always means more than just performing. It’s about meeting new people, exchanging ideas with other cultures and experiencing dance together on an international stage. We not only take home memories of fantastic performances, but also the motivation to continue sharing our art.

We are now returning to Hesse with heart and dedication – full of inspiration for future projects. Merci et à bientôt!
