Exhibition on the Dance House at Loftwerk Wiesbaden

In collaboration with the Architecture program at Hochschule RheinMain, led by Prof. Andreas Fuchs, Master’s students have developed a concept for a dance house in the currently vacant sports arena in Wiesbaden’s city center. This in-depth exploration of space, function, and vision has resulted in several compelling designs.

From October 15 to 25, five of these works will be presented at Loftwerk Wiesbaden.

For Hessisches Staatsballett, the designs and the exhibition provide an important opportunity to draw attention to the working conditions of dancers. At the same time, a vision takes shape: a dedicated dance house that strengthens dance as an independent art form and grants it the visibility and recognition it deserves.
