Open Call

The Hessisches Staatsballett is looking for professional dancers/performers for a new production by Regina Rossi, which is specially designed for a young audience.

Dancers/performers should have a strong dance technique in contemporary dance and/or urban dance styles. In addition, applicants should have performative skills, abilities or skills. An important part of the production is working with language and the ability to communicate with young audiences during the performance.

Your profile

• Strong dance technique, especially in contemporary dance and/or urban dance styles
• Strong performative skills and abilities
• Desire and experience in working with language
• Experience in productions for a young audience
• Openness and experience in communicating with the audience during the dance performance

Rehearsals will take place in the following periods

Rehearsal phases at the ballet studio of Staatstheater Darmstadt:

03 March 2025 – 20 March 2025
07 April 2025 – 03 May 2025

Stage rehearsal phase at Kammerspiele Staatstheater Darmstadt:

05 May 2025 – 10 May 2025

The premiere will take place on 11 May 2025 in the Kammerspiele of Staatstheater Darmstadt. Further performances are planned until 1 June 2025 in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden.
