Masayoshi Katori
Masayoshi Katori was born in Tokyo, Japan and began dancing at the age of seven at the Reiko Otsuka Ballet School. At 16, he moved to the United States to begin his professional training at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. After two years, he transferred to the Rudra Béjart Lausanne. Immediately after graduation, he was hired by the ballet of Saarländisches Staatstheater in Saarbrücken. There he danced in pieces by Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger and Stijn Celis. Since the 2016/2017 season, he has been an ensemble member at the Hessisches Staatsballett.
