SONOMA

Marcos Morau and his company La Veronal have been long-standing partners of Hessisches Staatsballett. Alongside Nachtträume, this year’s festival also features Firmamento. The film Sonoma will also be screened, offering an intimate glimpse into the creation of the stage work of the same name, which was co-produced by Hessisches Staatsballett and presented to great acclaim at the 2021 Tanzfestival Rhein-Main.

A treasure trove for anyone eager to look behind the surreal stage world of Sonoma, featuring video and audio recordings as well as short fictional pieces inspired by the rehearsal process.
