The world of Colourful Games is filled with vibrant objects that invite children to discover it for themselves. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them: they explore, climb and jump, let go and make new connections.
In 2017, Hessisches Staatsballett presented its own version of Birutė Banevičiūtė’s piece under the title Farbenspiel. Now, the work returns in its original production, inviting children aged three to six to immerse themselves in a colourful world of balls, ribbons and hula hoops together with the dancers. Guided by the ensemble, the children become part of the dance themselves.
A performance distinguished by its unique interactivity, playfully introducing young audiences to the world of dance.
