HESSISCHES STAATSBALLETTAUDITION SEASON 2025 – 2026

The Hessisches Staatsballett is the common dance company of Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden and Staatstheater Darmstadt. Under the artistic direction of Bruno Heynderickx, the 28 strong dancers’ ensemble produces and presents a minimum of three programs each season for which the company commissions nationally and internationally renowned choreographers. The companies’ repertoire includes works by Imre & Marne van Opstal, Ohad Naharin, Nadav Zelner, Xie Xin, Damien Jalet, Sharon Eyal, Marco Goecke und Antonio de Rosa & Mattia Russo, amongst others.

For its 2025/26 season, the Hessisches Staatsballett is looking for dancers with a minimum of three years professional experience and possess a solid classical and excellent contemporary technique. There are 4 contracts available.

The Audition will take place on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Hessische Staatstheater Wiesbaden.

In order to apply to participate dancers should send

• a full CV including a headshot
• a video link of you dancing a piece
• a video of a max. 3 minute improvisation

Deadline to subscribe is January 10th 2025. The dancers that are invited to attend the audition will be notified by email the latest by January 20th 2025. Only dancers that have been invited will be able to attend the audition.
