Wiesbaden Dances 2025 – The Dance Festival of the State Capital
Diverse, dynamic, and open to all: Wiesbaden Dances warmly invites you once again this year to experience Wiesbaden’s vibrant dance scene up close.
Date: Friday and Saturday, August 29 & 30, 2025
Location: Public spaces and indoor venues throughout Wiesbaden, including the station forecourt, Kranzplatz, Kirchgasse, and the ballet studios of the Hessisches Staatsballett
What awaits you?
Participation strongly encouraged:
At numerous dance schools across the city and with the Hessisches Staatsballett, everyone is welcome to learn their own steps, dance with professionals, and actively immerse themselves in the world of dance.
Performances in urban spaces:
Street dance formats and indoor performances transform city locations into stages — a celebration for both audiences and performers alike.
Festival info & community:
Three information containers at the station forecourt, Kranzplatz, and Kirchgasse offer insights into the new dance collective Dance Nexus, the history of dance festivals in Hesse, and feature exciting photo exhibitions. At a TikTok station, you can even let yourself be “danced.”
Panel discussions & evening program:
Expert talks on dance, parties, and community dance projects provide a holistic approach to the art form — ideal for all ages and experience levels.

Children up to 12 years enjoy free admission.
