Valentina Ávila Hurtado

Valentina Ávila Hurtado, born in 2005 in Colombia, received her dance training at En Avant Escuela in Bogotá and at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. She is trained in both classical ballet and contemporary dance techniques, and has worked with renowned choreographers such as Rena Butler, Kristel van Issum, Sade Mamedova, and Yossi Berg & Oded Graf. Her performances include appearances at the Aerowaves Spring Forward Festival, with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, and in projects such as Cellotänze and Join under the direction of Ioannis Mandafounis. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Hessian State Ballet.
