Elena Pineda Ortiz

Elena Pineda Ortiz is 22 years old and has Italian and Colombian roots. She discovered dance at a very young age, and ever since, movement has been much more than a form of artistic expression for her. She experiences dancing as a fundamental need and as a way of expressing what sometimes cannot be put into words.

In the 2026/27 season, Elena joins Hessisches Staatsballett for an internship year. She is eager to learn from her colleagues, to develop both as a dancer and an artist, and to explore new realities and forms of expression together. Through her work with the ensemble, she hopes to gain new experiences, enjoy the process of dancing, and continuously discover new sides of herself.
