Anthony Michael Pucci

Anthony was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He began his training at the age of 15 at Studio Dance in his hometown. He then continued his education at the University of Iowa, receiving a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. After graduating, he danced for three years with NW Dance Project, a company in Portland Oregon focused on new creations. He then began a three year nomadic journey, traveling around the US and abroad while freelancing and guesting with different companies in the US. He joined Hessisches Staatsballett for the 23/24 season and has been privileged to perform works by Ohad Naharin, Imre and Marne Van Opstal, Anouk Van Dijk, Dunja Jocic, Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond. In his free time, he enjoys wild camping, playing tennis, cooking with foraged plants, and visiting the beautiful saunas in Germany.
