Costumes, music, and choreography have been passionately developed by the young performers themselves, professionally supported by an experienced team of trainers. In this creative interplay, futuristic high-tech aesthetics meet classic circus traditions – creating moments full of lightness, strength, and surprising poetry.

Circus Waldoni – Where Young Imaginations Take Flight
In the heart of Darmstadt-Eberstadt, the Varieté of Circus Waldoni unfolds its creative spirit. Here, circus arts, theatre, music, and dance merge into a unique experience, lovingly created by young people between the ages of 14 and 29.
The young artists take full creative ownership of their productions – from the initial concept to costume and set design, all the way to choreography. They are supported by a professional team of trainers who help them bring their visions to life. The result: performances that captivate with authenticity, creativity, and emotional depth.
In productions like the current show OFFBEAT – Slightly off track, but never out of step, Waldoni’s artists present a compelling mix of aerial artistry, juggling, acrobatics, Cyr wheel and lollipop acts, complemented by elements of theatre and dance. Futuristic high-tech meets classic circus traditions, giving rise to poetic scenes full of surprise, grace, and playful wit.
The Varieté of Circus Waldoni is more than just a stage – it is a space where young people can explore their creativity, build confidence, and grow together. It is a school of life, where imagination and reality blend in the most wonderful way.
