Xie Xin is currently one of the most sought-after choreographers in East Asia, who now tours worldwide with her XieXin Dance Theatre. There is a recurring collaboration with the Hessisches Staatsballett. In the 2018/2019 season, the choreographer was featured in the guest performance From In at Wiesbaden’s Kleines Haus. In the same season, she created part of the four dance evening Shortcuts at the Wartburg with her short choreography Special Moment. Xie Xin’s works are characterized by a soft flow of movement of spiritual embodiment. Timeless, her latest creation for the dance ensemble of the Hessisches Staatsballett, premiered at the Staatstheater Darmstadt on April 8, 2023.
