STAYING WITH: A DANCE-IMAGINATION WORKSHOP

The double bill Outrar (Portuguese for “becoming someone else”) explores choreographic responses to questions of identity, otherness and transformation. Through gestures, characters and shifting identities, a play unfolds between joy, nostalgia and the longing for another place.

In this workshop, choreographer and dancer Volmir Cordeiro invites participants to explore the process of metamorphosis through Brazilian rhythms.
