Sinnschwingung

A circus production by the Zarakali Youth Ensemble 2025

How do we perceive time? Can our actions change the future? Is a fulfilled life necessary? And: does our existence have meaning – despite or perhaps even because of death?

These profound questions are explored by 23 young circus artists and 6 musicians in the new production “Sinn Schwingung” by the Zarakali Youth Ensemble. Created in collaboration with the Kulturwerkstatt Germaniastraße, Waggong, and VirusMusik, the result is a moving performance combining circus arts, theater, and live music.

At the heart of this production lies a reflection on time, mortality, and resonance. The Zarakali tent stage becomes a space of experience, where thoughts, sounds, movement, and emotions begin to vibrate – and merge into an impressive symbiosis.

Accompanied by specially composed live music, circus artistry and theater meet to form a powerful and touching performance of the “new circus” – one that resonates deeply.
