Möbius / Compagnie XY (France)

Choreography by Rachid Ouramdane

With Möbius, their fifth production, Compagnie XY expands the boundaries of acrobatics, drawing inspiration from natural phenomena such as the mesmerizing formations of bird flocks. Much like the synchronized movements of starlings, a dense, fluid choreography emerges in which many bodies act as a single organism.

At the core lies the idea of a continuous flow of movement—a “continuum” in which situations constantly transform without producing oppositions. In an open, white space, the action unfolds like a chain reaction: a living structure of energy, perception, and mutual responsiveness.

The collaboration with choreographer Rachid Ouramdane introduces an additional artistic perspective and deepens the connection between movement, space, and meaning.

Möbius is a poetic homage to the living—and a reminder that collective action forms the foundation for development, renewal, and a creative future.
