Sebastian Weber Dance Company
Glitz is a dazzling concert performance by the Sebastian Weber Dance Company that draws the audience right into the pulsating energy of the night. With live band, fog, disco beats, and glowing costumes, the space transforms into a club where dance becomes celebration: loud, wild, electrifying.
But Glitz is more than a party: it celebrates the power of pop music as a driving force of freedom, new beginnings, and social change, making the politics of the body palpable through music and dance. Known for its visually striking, high-energy tap dance, the Sebastian Weber Dance Company fuses contemporary dance with tap, funk, disco, and rock in Glitz.
The seven dancers shift between vibrant club moments and intricate tap routines: loops and improvisations unfold their pull, while the live band’s music fills the space with beats and rhythms. Glitz champions the transformative power of pop — and invites the audience to celebrate the night, the dance, and the moment together.
