Euphorie + Übelkeit

Residency Pauline Michel

8.12. – 21.12.2025

Vertigo is considered a state of perception that has gone awry. One’s own body awareness and what the eyes see drift apart. It appears as a somatic moment of exception, so to speak, in which one reaches the limits of one’s own control and the world around becomes uncertain. In the research project Euphorie + Übelkeit, I explore the gap between one’s own body awareness and the perception of the world as a space of euphoria, adrenaline, energy, uncertainty, discomfort, threat, or nausea
