Dip – is at the heart of my research, creation and education work.
Etay Axelroad
Dance is a language of many dialects that unite in complex articulations. Dip promotes this hybridity by combining elements from different movement practices such as martial arts, Feldenkrais, meditation, gaga, ballet and urban styles. This interdisciplinarity strengthens awareness of the body, interpersonal dynamics, space, time and musicality.
Accessibility and inclusivity are core values of my practice. In my workshops and courses, I aim to create participatory spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. I believe in the democratizing potential of dance to transcend cultural and physical boundaries and help participants unleash their creative and physical potential.
