Performance Development by Felix Berner. An interdisciplinary production by JUST and the Hessisches Staatsballett.

Water is the element of life. It covers 71 percent of the earth’s surface. It flows, evaporates or, turns as hard as stone in the form of ice. Water is needed every day. It emerges from the sky but can also be found deep underground, as is the case in Wiesbaden. Special water veins exist there which come to the surface in many places in the city. People fear the power of water and simultaneously love it, in particular the youngest ones are completely captivated by it. Specifically in water parks, it enjoys great popularity.

In the Year of Water, the Junge Schauspiel and Hessisches Staatsballett are jointly dedicating a production of their own to this special element, which embarks on an exploratory voyage for the youngest (2+) into unknown waters. The piece »blau« (premiere) will be staged by choreographer Felix Berner by means of dance and theatre.
