Sayaka Kado
Japanese Sayaka Kado studied classical ballet at the Ikuko Watanabe Ballet School in Japan and at the Elmhurst School for Dance in the UK. During her studies she danced with the Asami Maki Ballet Company Tokyo and the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Afterwards she was engaged in Germany at the Aalto Ballett Theater Essen as well as at the Staatstheater Nuremberg. In addition, she was a finalist at the Prix de Lausanne 2005, and was also nominated for the German theater award “Der Faust” in 2014 and received the Bavarian Art Promotion Award in 2016.
