A one-man show where circus meets comedy
In ha_ha_ha hi!, a mediocre comedian attempts to tell a joke with life-changing impact.
But he lacks the right words—or simply the right microphone setting for his big breakthrough.
As he struggles with his shortcomings, he turns to the absurd, using every means at his disposal to create moments of comic folly.
The solo performance ha ha ha hi! blends dance, circus, physical comedy, and object manipulation.
It celebrates the art of joke-making, cheerful silliness, raw humor, comic chaos, and the beauty of joyful purposelessness. The audience is invited into a world where minimalism meets eccentricity, and playful nonsense suddenly becomes profound.
With his latest solo work, Felix Baumann continues his exploration of the theme “BODY, COMIC & MATERIAL,” focusing on humor as a choreographic, aesthetic, and political tool of cultural practice.

Felix Baumann
Felix Baumann lives in Berlin and works internationally as a director and performer at the intersection of contemporary circus, physical theatre, comedy, and visual art.
His artistic practice combines physical research with humor and a playful approach to materials, exploring processes of (de-)construction, new materialities, and the relationship between body, object, and space. Humor functions as a choreographic and dramaturgical tool to engage with contemporary themes, metaphors, and the absurdities of everyday life.
After completing his Master’s degree in Physical Theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (CH), and several years of collaboration with Continuo Theatre (CZ), he founded the company Von B bis Z and has since realized international projects across Europe.
