A piece by one of the most exciting artists in dance for a young audience.<\/p>\n

Life is not a pony farm, but perhaps a merry-go-round? In a mixture of movement, music and visual elements, Regina Rossi and team create an intimate and touching stage experience for the audience of the day after tomorrow in \u201cKarussell\u201d. The dance piece invites children to experience the basic emotions of anger, fear, sadness and joy in a playful and artistic way. These four basic emotions are represented through dance and moving stage elements that change dynamically during the performance. The audience is invited to join in a festival of emotions!
\nThe Hamburg-based Brazilian choreographer Regina Rossi has produced many of her works shown throughout Germany at Kampnagel and combines contemporary dance with styles such as samba or capoeira as well as performance art and pop culture.<\/p>\n

Regina Rossi was born and raised in Brazil. She studied theater, choreography and performance studies in Porto Alegre, Amsterdam and Hamburg. She is currently working on her doctorate in Applied Theater Studies (Gie\u00dfen) under Prof. Bojana Kunst on \u201cArtistic Practice as the Art of Instituting\u201d. Rossi has lived in Hamburg since 2009 and produces her own works at Kampnagel, which have been shown throughout Germany. The choreographer combines contemporary dance with movement cultures such as couple dance, samba or capoeira, as well as with performance art and quotations from pop culture and feminist art.<\/p>\n

In many of her previous works, she has dealt with omnipresent Western body images and ideals of women, which she counters with her own, sometimes humorous, sometimes sensual, sometimes provocative movement aesthetic. Since 2018, Rossi has also focused her work on producing performances and teaching dance and performance to children and young people.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Kilian L\u00f6derbusch<\/strong> is a dancer and performer based in Berlin.<\/p>\n

During his high school years, he had a great interest in theater and gained his first experience in the youth drama club of the Theater Magdeburg. He started his dance training in Berlin alongside his studies in landscape architecture. After graduating from the Technical University of Berlin, he studied dance at the Center for Contemporary Dance at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Tanz in Cologne.<\/p>\n

He has worked as a dancer in productions by William Cardoso, SPECIES\/Carla Jordao, Gustavo Gomes, Chris J\u00e4ger, Amanda Pina, Julio Cesar Iglesias Ungo, Willi Dorner, the Circus Dance Festival Cologne, and more.<\/p>\n

Kilian is interested in the connection between the pop world and the classical theater space and how he can explore it for himself.<\/p>\n

He works as a dancer, performer and creator for the stage, side-specific performances, as well as video and film projects.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Laura Ahumada Garc\u00eda<\/strong> is a South American Movement Artist, Performer, Improviser, Interarts Collaborator and Educator currently enrolling a Master program (MA CoDE) in Frankfurt. ((2023-2025)<\/p>\n

She began engaging with body work in her home country of Chile, before working professionally in S\u00e3o Paulo then studying in London Contemporary Dance School (2016-2019). Right after finishing her studies (2019-2021) she worked with Divadlo Studio Tanca (2019-2021) in Slovakia, allowing her to engage in dance through varied senses: culturally, geographically, hierarchically, linguistically, socially, and stylistically.<\/p>\n

She has developed her dance career and worked with distinctive choreographer\/educators such as Martin Kilvady, Milan Tomasik, Stanislav Dob\u00e1k (Ultima vez) L\u00edvia M\u00e9ndez Mar\u00edn Bal\u00e1\u017eov\u00e1 (ultima vez), Stanislava Vl\u010dekov\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Laura since 2021 is a freelance dance artist, educator and choreographer in Germany. She has been collaborating with choreographer such as Tamar Grosz (Berlin), Finn Lakeberg \u2013 Tanz Mainz, Regina Rossi (Brazil \u2013 Germany), Milena Wilke. She is the co-creator of Anhelo Collective, between UK, Germany. and Colombia, She has created her solo \u201cMadre & Tierra\u201d and performing in several venues such as Sommer Werft 2024 (Frankfurt), Zukunft Tanzt 2024 (Frankfurt), Humanography Festival 2024 (Gothenburg), Ponderosa 2023 (Brandenburg), Lush 2023 (Berlin).<\/p>\n

Her dedication for teaching, dancing and performing comes from her silliness, spontaneity, absurdity, simplicity, latin fire and finding togetherness in dance from a decolonial and feminist perspective.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Kemelo Nozipho Sehlapelo<\/strong> is a South African artist (dancer, choreographer, writer and activist).<\/p>\n

She holds her Bachelor of Arts in English and anthropology from the University of Pretoria.<\/p>\n

She moved to Budapest, Hungary in 2019, where she joined DART Dance Company’s student program, completing it in 2020. She continued to work as a freelance dance artist and writer in Budapest until 2022 having worked with local and international artists.<\/p>\n

Moving to Germany to pursue her MA, she has continued to expand her artistic practice. Traversing through film, music mixing\/DJane-ing, and poetry, she has most recently performed at the Makhanda National Arts Festival in Makhanda, South Africa (alongside collaborator and friend Andres Martinez), Femme Festival in Giessen, Germany, and her work has been shown at the International Theater Frauen Festival in Frankfurt, Germany and Winterfeft festival in Frankfurt, Germany.<\/p>\n

Her writing has been featured in several art and literature zines. She is currently a member of the HATCHED Ensemble cast (choreographer – Mamela Nyamza).
