In Moonfall<\/em>, Dunja Joci\u0107 explores extreme situations. Against the backdrop of current socio-political crises, the Serbian-Dutch choreographer investigates the relationship between the individual and the collective in processes of upheaval and recovery. She is particularly interested in how people perceive and act when in a state of heightened alert. Joci\u0107 works with Michael Gordon\u2019s Rewriting Beethoven\u2019s Seventh Symphony Part 1<\/em> and Renger Koning\u2019s The Whole\u2019s Gone Missing<\/em>. In the two-part structure of her choreography, she draws on the tense and at times chaos-inducing character of the music to embody the fragile yet unpredictable acts in the struggle between acceptance and resistance.<\/p>\n
